Congratulations to All Fall Sports Teams

I want to congratulate all of our athletics teams that were in competition this fall. I know our student-athletes have much on their plate, working hard at their sport and balancing that with their academics. They, like many of our students, embody the values and spirit of the College of Charleston.

My thanks to our student-athletes for representing the College so well and for the great distinction and positive attention they bring to their teams, the Department of Athletics and the College of Charleston.

Below please find some highlights from the fall sports season.

The sailing team won the ICSA Match Race Nationals – bringing home the Cornelius Shields Trophy.

The coed sailing team won its eighth consecutive SAISA Fall Coed Dinghy Championship as well as the Truxtun Umsted Memorial Trophy — a four-division regatta held in Annapolis, MD.
